“he shall hide me . . . ” Psalm 27

For in the time of trouble
he shall hide me in his pavilion:

in the secret of his tabernacle
shall he hide me;

he shall set me up upon a rock.

Psalm 27: 5 (KJV)

I arranged the lines of the Bible verse.  Reading the Psalms is a source of comfort.  Now, after many years of reading, new readings include a deeper appreciation of God’s presence and help. I remember reading a verse when ill, or a Psalm to my mother in her “last” days, and many verses for support in everyday life.  I also read aloud for the sheer beauty of the language.
