In Loving Memory – Three Haiku

These are haiku for my mother, Enola M. Borgh (1917 – 2004).  She would be so happy to know I am using my teaching gifts again at The Haiku Foundation.  She also volunteered after she retired; she taught English as a second language and worked at a nursing home.

forget-me-nots
bloom everywhere
love endures

Rest and Renewal

I am blessed by the seasons in our perennial gardens.  I like the photos at this time of year as much as when different plants flower through the spring, summer, and fall. I took this photo of one of the daylily gardens yesterday.

And a look back at the daylilies this year – always nice to visit the archives too.
